Essential Companion Tickets
We want Gassed On Track to be accessible and enjoyable for as many people as possible.
If you are a disabled customer or have a long-term access need and would be unable to attend safely or independently without support, you may be eligible for one complimentary Essential Companion Ticket.
An Essential Companion Ticket is for someone attending specifically to provide support during the event. This could be a personal assistant, carer, partner, family member or friend. It is not a general discounted ticket and cannot be used as a free ticket for someone who would otherwise be attending as a guest.
How to apply
Please purchase your own eligible General Admission ticket first, then complete our Essential Companion Ticket application form.
You will need to provide:
- Your full name
- Your email address
- Your Weezevent booking reference
- The ticket type you have purchased
- The name of your proposed Essential Companion
- A brief explanation of the support required at the event
- Valid supporting evidence
Applications are reviewed individually and confidentially. We only ask for the information needed to assess your request.
Please do not upload full medical records. We only need evidence confirming that you require support to attend the event. You may redact financial amounts, National Insurance numbers and any information that is not relevant.
Evidence we accept
We accept evidence such as:
- Access Card with +1
- PIP, DLA or Attendance Allowance evidence
- Visual impairment registration
- A letter from a medical, care or support professional confirming that you require support to attend the event

What the ticket includes
Approved Essential Companion Tickets provide General Admission access only.
The ticket is valid only when attending with the eligible ticket holder named in the approved application. The Essential Companion may be asked to enter the event at the same time as the eligible ticket holder.
The scheme applies to standard General Admission tickets only. It does not apply to VIP tickets, hospitality packages, track time, passenger rides, premium experiences, food-and-drink packages, event extras, add-ons or any other upgraded ticket type.
Under-16 & Under-5 ticket holders
Under-5 tickets are free, and are strictly for children aged 4 and under. They cannot be used by adults, carers, Essential Companions, friends, family members or anyone aged 5 or over. All under-16 ticket holders, including Under-5s, must be accompanied by a responsible adult who holds a valid paid adult ticket. Anyone misusing a child, Under-5 or Essential Companion ticket may be refused entry.
The Essential Companion Ticket scheme cannot be used to provide the required accompanying adult free of charge.
Where a disabled child requires support beyond ordinary parental or guardian supervision, we may consider an additional Essential Companion Ticket on a case-by-case basis.
Application deadline
Applications must be submitted in advance of the event. We recommend applying as early as possible once you have purchased your ticket.
Applications submitted close to the event will be reviewed where possible, but approval cannot be guaranteed if there is not enough time to process the request and issue the ticket.
